Hi all!
I came here because of... ships.
for over a decade and a half, i have been into all sorts of serious Plane games provided they have Props, Guns and Bombs.
Then came War thunder and the Tanks therein. (working on a T-34-85)
Then came World of Warships and the German Destroyer line. Those are some serious NSFW ships. Especially with Flakvierlings and Twin Barrel cannons.
Recently Il-2 Battle of Kuban got a Type II U-boot, and this launched me on my quest for a Type VII.
Scratch the Type VII - the Type IX is where it´s at! In Silent Hunter III.
And then i found LSHIII and the GWX Mod.
And then i ran out of Words.
Not because of the technical achievement.
But because of the fact that Strangers compiled these things while sitting a thousand miles apart.
"All you need is a few good men..."
indeed.
wow.
After reading the GWX readme, i am left silent, touched, humbled, and somewhat jelly - those were some good proper friends who did those Supermods.
They pushed potential differences aside, focussed on a common goal and pulled on the same string for years.
Both packs have restored my vaning faith in humanity.
