pretty sure i was a member years ago ........ but maybe i just used it as a guest anyway here now ...... and still trying to work out how to load the silent hunters # 3 & 4 onto whatever system i am on at the time ...... currently thats win 7 and mint 18.2 ....... 1 out of 4 so far sh4 is running on win 7 ok ...... sh3 gets the protection message .... blah blah it will run on a few win systems up to xp2 ....... anyone else think 3 is slightly better than 4 for the missions ...... 5 got lost somewhere and never surfaced successfully ( anyone thinks im wrong tell me ) ...... and the rest you dont want to know ? ....... any hints helps or pointers on where to go or who to kiss to get ( mainly 3&4 ) going is appreciated ......cheers ....... phill

3 is probably better for the volume of ships available, and the campaign goes to 1945 while 5 stops at 1943 I think (I'm in 1942 ATM). SH5 has some very talented mods working on it, and it just keeps getting better all the time.
