Congratulations!!!
I am envious of anyone who can retire.
My funeral will have to be in the afternoon as I will probably be working that morning.
My friend you have a long time left, try to go down to work.:Kaleun_Thumbs_Up:

Congratulations Vendor! Enjoy! Kick back, relax for a bit, then GET TO WORK!!!
Myself, I stumbled across the retirement line just over a year ago, and I cannot believe I ever had time to go to work before... There is an even longer "honey-do" list than before!... :salute:

Great news Vendor, no more getting up early, coming home to eat, and go to bed, then repeat and if you're lucky you get 2 days off!!
What is annoying is when the weekend comes around everything is closed!!! and often the nice weather is during the week, I'll be glad when I can join you Gerald.:yep:
Enjoy your retirement mate!

HUzzah!
And I'm glad to see the Vendor News Service (TM) back in action again. Along with the SS front page, the AP, and the BBC, I consider it one of my go to news feeds!

That is something I just can not understand. If I ever had a chance to retire, I would probably be more busy than I am now. The difference is that I would be busy doing the stuff I want to do, when I want to do them.

A lot of folks here stay on at work if they can or find another job. The 60+ age group are looked upon as more reliable than the young, that is too say they will get up in the morning.

I like my jobs. I have been in the same career field for 35 years. I even do it (somewhat) when I am not working.
Maybe just something part time? Think of developing hobbies. I do like my naps and the pets, our new kids, are much happier for the contact.
I still work full-time, I tried to retire, but I couldn't sit still that long.
