I have a facebook page with several different photos, and last summer (2016) I was in France, and this included a visit in Normandy, where I saw some of the different locations from D-Day.
If you follow this link, it will lead you to the first photo of 11 photos from the memorial graveyard with all the white crosses. The previous photos in the album included a statue from there plus a photo from the German graveyard. I made several more photos, but I'm not going to post them all.
I presume you can see the photos without an account, but with a fb account you surely can, because they are put up on a page.

I know that it's not particular uboat/submarine related, but still it's WW2 and D-Day was a marine operation, so I guess it's okay to post here at subsim.
