Hello

I have downloaded SH3 through Steam, and install the GWX 3.0 Mod + the New Wilhelmshaven/St Naz ports addon for GWX 3.
I run on Windows 10 (64)
I have checked the compatibility "Windows XP SP2" and "run as administrator"
In the Documents\SH3\data\cfg\main.cfg I have set the "Syncronized" to YES

The game launch, I have the GWX splash screen, I can play the tutorial missions without problem however each time I try to play an historical mission or start a mission in a campaign the game crash to desktop.

Any idea ?

well have you read the manual? followed all steps correctly?
Also have you launched the game before installing GWX? And make sure the version on which you install GWX is 1.4b

I have followed the tutorial for installation of the GW3 posted on the french forum "Mille Sabords"
I have launched the game before applying the Mod but did not try a mission just check that the game launch correctly (it was the case)
Steam version is 1.4.0.1 (I have read somewhere it is indeed version 1.4.b)

Hello and welcome.

About your problem, perhaps your computer doesn't have enough memory ...

Hello and thanks for the welcome message.

Sorry I should have given my configuration, I don't think the issue is linked with the performance of my computer:

I have 32 GB of RAM, an i7-6700K and a GTX1060.

Yes, these are good settings.

You can play tutorial missions, but no other missions, that's strange ! :o I can check your installation via Teamviewer if you want. :hmmm:

Thanks for the proposition Kendras but I don't have teamviewer and don't really plan to install it.

Searching the subsim forum it look like there is billions of post like mine with no definitive answer...

And on the other hand some guy seems to be able to run without problem the steam version with GWX on windows 10...

I will try to change the place of installation of my SH3 file with the SFS tools once an updated version will be available and in the meantime I will try SH5 with the WOS mod.
