Well, we had another show on TV last night about her and her tragic death. I always admired her, for what she was going through, and what kind of good things she was involved with. But this never ending onslaught of her death is getting real old. How many times do we have to see photos of her car upside down on the roadway after the accident. To see the sadness in the reactions to all those in the UK who loved her, as her body was brought back from France, and through the funeral proceedings. Whole thing is so sad and tragic. Yet, it has to be shown over and over again, why? How does this affect her sons and the rest of her family, to be reminded all the time as to what happened. It reminds me of when President Kennedy was killed in Dallas. Every year for a long time on the anniversary of his death, they would show the same film of him being shot. When Bobby Kennedy was killed in LA, they did the same stinking thing. How do they think that made Rose Kennedy feel, seeing replays of her sons death. And the rest of the Kennedy family.

Let Diana rest in peace, let her family focus on the good things in her life, not on her death.

I can answer that from my experience. I know, if you're not close or interested, it can become wearisome. It's all done to keep the memory alive. It sounds as if you agree with those who feel the memory of her should be kept alive. As a firefighter, I felt the loss of many of my brothers and sisters on September 11. Yes, it does hurt to see everything relived every year. It also reminds me that those who are in the position to do so, are making sure to keep the memory alive. I am very appreciative of that. The same can be said about the Kennedy Assassination, Pearl Harbor attack, or other such event. I sure The Royal Family, Kennedy's, etc. feel the same.

Even sadder is the fact her two sons William and Harry have recently went public in interviews admitting they still feel traumatized by the whole event and suspect they will never fully recover.

Manna from heaven for some of the media.

At what point does it change from honouring a memory and start becoming exploiting for profit?
