Testing to make sure some traffic I added in 1945 shows up. I added cruiser Ashigara's movements between Singapore and Java in early June 45. Ashigara(Myoko Class) plus Kamikaze DD appeared at historic time and location on 8 June 1945, so the battle known as "Action of 8 June 1945" is possible in the sim now. British sub HMS Trenchant sunk the Ashigara after firing from a very long range. Bangka Strait is extremely shallow waters. I fired 5 Mark 16's from about 6,000 yards, all five hit and she exploded nicely. The DD came roaring in I had turned away and fired two "down the throat" shots from 600 yards, then dove to 85 feet, just few above bottom and let some decoys loose

One torpedo hit was heard and DD went quiet. After few minutes, came to scope depth, to see DD's stern low in water and on fire.Since I was testing and no playing a "real" career, I left external cam on. Inspection showed the torpedo obviously clipped the screws and rudder and explosion damaged the hull, causing flooding in the stern. One screw was missing as well as rudder. DD kept on a strait course at slow speed and nearly beached itself before reversing, after it settled, fired one more torpedo from port side which hit and sunk the torpedo.
