This past Wednesday, 26 July, 2017, June Foray, one of the pioneering artists in voice acting passed away just short of her 100th birthday at age 99. A good many of us who remember the early days of television and cartoon shows have heard Foray's voice in its many, many incarnations and others may have heard her voice talents in animated feature films. She was an icon in the animation and voice acting fields and will be missed:

Mel Blank was the Male June Foray.

She was truly one of the greatest voice actors of our time. And one that does not get enough recognition in my opinion.

Her career lasted 87 years!!

I certainly remember her voice overs in the animations area. I had no idea who she was. June really did bring so many animated characters to life. June Foray was very talented and I'm sure if given the chance, June could have done far more in the entertainment field.
