Hi folks, John from England.
Im new around here and just discovered this community!
Around a week ago I was browsing YouTube videos and I came across the upcoming UBOOT.
Looked into SH briefly (still very interested) and then brought Cold Waters....I'm hooked!
Not knowing much about the Navy and Naval warfare as I'm ex Army myself, I started watching Jive Turkey vids (top bloke) and have learned so much....and well, here I am!
My forum name is the name of the Merchant Vessel, a Norwegian Tanker, my Grandfather served upon during the latter part of WW2.
When he wasn't tasked with cleaning and replacing plugs in the life boats onboard, he manned the Oerlikon gun next to the bridge!
He had some amazing stories of his time serving and many scary stories about the UBoats!
Anyway, I'm loving Cold Waters and looking forward to UBOOT and getting involved in the community.
