I started playing SH3 in 2005 ,,, I was hooked playing for hours, all weekends and love the suspense and search. Finding a distant propeller noise, or map contact and predicting the approximate location is reward in itself when you pop up (after fast forward in 6 hours time) to find the target exactly where you calculated it would be. In those days I played WinXP, changed jobs, and somehow lost touch. I tried SH4, disliked it, tried SH5 .... dropped it immediately.
I recently discovered the LSH3 project/community and this instantly revived my interest. I bought an SH3 Purple Hills DVD and downloaded some LSH3 mod packs. I am running a (super fast) Win10, 4GB Graphic card, SSD drive machine and I ask some help please.
I disable AVG virus (because it reports a Trojan in sh3.exe) do a full DVD install. I try to activate JSGME (from split file) for the first full mod. The green progress bar runs to full extent in about 4 minutes and just sits there. I have left it for 1 hr and still it doesn't complete ... Any advice would be greatly appreciated... I have downloaded and repeatedly read the 16 page document from Urmel but LSH3_2015_FULLVERSION simply wont activate .. the blue circle spins ..
