SH3 GWX 3.0 Issue

Hi guys,

I'll be quick, when I try to start a campaign over 1939 the game crashes when I'll start the first patrol. I mean, I can only start new campaigns without crashes if they started in 1939. And finally sorry about my english I do that I can with it xD.

Could you, please, tell us if you are using SH3 Commander and, also, could you post your MODS list? This way it will be easier to find out what is going on with your installation.:ping:

Yeah of course, mods I have:

-16k atmosphere
-Enhanced damage effects
-Integrated Orders
-Merged campaign
-No medals on crew
-Open hatch mod

I dont have commander.

I really suggest you to use sH III commander and especially the roll back options.

Nothing, the issue persist. I have noticed that it's not only when I try to start a campaign in other year (no 1939), this happens too when in the 1939 campaign war begins, the third patrol crashes too.

I wonder why you have the "Merged Campaign" Mod enabled. This mod will not add extra traffic to the North Sea or the Atlantic and it is not as if you are going to cross the Indian Ocean to reach Jakarta, either. :hmmm:

If I were you, I would disable all mods and I would start a new campaign. If the game continued to crash then I would assume that something went wrong during the installation of GWX or SHIII itself - the problem would probably be in the installation of SHIII. In that case, I would uninstall SHIII and reinstall it. This time you might want to consider to use MultiSH3, a utility that allows you to have multiple installations of SHIII on your disk. This way you can keep a clean and working version of SHIII and also any other heavily modified version of the game, such as SHIII with GWX + mods, SHIII with NYGM + mods etc. :yep:

Are you playing the game on a Win7 machine? Is your SHIII copy free of Starforce?

Win 10, in uplay, I have in steam too (1.4 both). Ran it in Win 7 compatibility.
The game crashes before I have merged campaign enabled in fact I thought that it could be the problem, but no xD, I'll try that you say.
I tried a clean install too, but still crashes :/\\!!.

Nothing changes, I'm going crazy :wah:.

It could be a installation problem if you're right, but I followed the steeps, and many thanks guys for the fast answers and the help :subsim:

I believe you should uninstall everything and reinstall the game again.
