MFMv3 (Merchant Fleet) is now available

Version 3.3 of MFM (Merchant Fleet) is now available.

Here are a few impressions.

I have never used this kind of mod before.

Worked real well with my system. Ran smooth. Lots of great ships.

Love it.

Windows 10
i5, 6GB RAM (virtual memory (paging file) set for 9GB)
Solid-state drive
Silent Hunter 3 via Steam, GWX3, SH Commander.
No wide screen mod used.

Sep 1940. Bad weather about 6k viability. Spotted a lit neutral ship. Decided to take a closer look. Running next to it was an unlit convoy. Surprise.

Been busy. Finally got around to something close to daylight.

Here on a shake-down cruise in August 1939 before the war starts. North of Germany.

Normally I wouldn't harass other ships like this but had to get close to make sure my merchant fleet mod works. It does. Works both in single ship events and convoy.

From September 1939: This ship got sunk for the following reasons.
1. It was on a course more toward Swansea than Ireland.
2. Heading toward a port of my enemy.
3. No flag was displayed.

Game gave me credit for an enemy ship.

You can get a better looking smoke using the one from LSH for example.

Cant show you anything i dont make video or else, but as i said in another post here.
I subbed to this guy time ago and he does use the smoke tga from LSH and the result is amazing i think. ^^

What i do appreciate in this video are the love this guy put in every video he does, love and passion as he said hahahaha.
I am not anymore playing silent hunter, but i agree that i do enjoy the video from him.

If you wanna have got a better smoke try TMTv2+EFS mod. Smoke looks more natural using it.
