So, found this in a pawn shop that was having an estate sale out by my place...only because I was looking at the 1879 .50 calibre blackpowder rifle over the case it was in.

This is one of the Russian (obviously) officer's covers from The Hunt For Red October. $50, and worth every penny.

You never know what you'll find at garage sales, estate sales, and pawn shops. Pretty cool.

What a great find. You never know what you will find. There was a Subsim member who found an autographed Submarine book in a thrift store as well. I don't remember off hand who found that though.

Yeah. You all should see some of the stuff they have...lots of signed material from a lot of westerns (Namely John Wayne stuff) and Bond movies, a case displaying a piece of one of the chariots from 'Ten Commandments' with the certificate of authenticity, lots of prop weapons (Including a Thompson from 'Pearl Harbor'), a sword from Highlander II, and much more. Even have a lot of clothing and horse tack from the westerns as well.
Went back a few days ago, saw that they have a April 1912 newspaper (Daily News or New York Times, can't quite remember) from the day after the Titanic sank.
