So, I wanted to see if this enigma simulator is effective for fleet use like in DEF or LWF (If the latter is still around.)

Here is the cipher key to be used, for the M4 Enigma version ONLY!

Umkehrwalz: B (thin)
Walzenlage: Gamma II VI IV
Ringstellung: T G Y F
Grundstellung: Q M N U
Steckerbrett: (For those that don't know, these are the letter switches; i.e, DE means E goes under D, vice versa. Only the plugs need to be filled out.)

DE, GH, IB, JY, LQ, OF, PT, SM, UW, VR

The site has an enigma emulator that I'm thinking about using to help create a somewhat in-depth flotilla similar to LWF or DEF. However, I'm testing to see if something like this would be too complicated to use effectively.

I like the idea of using the enigma to simulate that part of a U-boat captain's career.

You can't copy/paste the message, so it's too complicated for me. There is another simulator where you can do this.
