Hy to everyone in the SUBSIM community, I'm from Italy I've played some scenarios of Silent Hunter 2 then, after meet a colleague Silent Hunter addicted, I've switch for Silent Hunter 3.
Now I'm playing with SH3 + GWX3.0 on a PC equipped with Win10, I realy like simulations game, I've a long story of board and role play gamer, so I enjoy historical and detailed simulations like SH3.

Welcome to Subsim Corian. :sunny: If you like Silent Hunter 3, you might want to give Silent hunter 4 and 5 a look as well. Opinions vary on which sim is better, ( 3,4 and 5 ) but it remains a great series.

I admit having difficulties to get SH3 with GWX or other mods to run under Win10 properly.. but everyone i ask says it's no problem :oops:

Great thing about Silent Hunter is how much you can modify the complexity, just like the better flight sims. Welcome aboard :)

Well Catfish, it seems Corian has SH3 and GWX running and maybe he can offer tips on how to do it. I'm sure other Subsim members can as well. You never said what issues you are having but try this if you haven't already:

Disable any anti virus you may be running. Go to the control panel and select my Graphics card icon (Nvidia and others) open it up and select 3D settings..... come down to Silent hunter in the games... select that and then change every 3D setting to "OFF" .... opened the game and it ran fine...

This is for LSH but it's applicable to any super Mod like GWX.
