Grid patrol offset in Wots?

I have had this issue twice now, the patrol grid described in the radio message / Captain's log does not match the actual patrol grid assigned.

IE: I was tasked to patrol AM5144 (West of N-Irl), but the point where the patrol was triggered was actually AN5144 (N of Scotland). I am seeing the same thing happening with AM21 /AN21.

I only noticed because when being assigned the patrol zone (while in port), you can still see the mission location mark, this is how I found the right ones.

Could this be due to the map mod I am using?

That's because area patrol timer is triggered as soon as you enter designated patrol area (ex. AN5144, 80km radius)...

We're probably not thinking about the same thing. Those two squares are quite more far apart than 80km. (Like two or three full zone squares IIRC). I'll see if I can post a screenshot when back home.

Just checked...There are no "AM5144/AN5144/AN21/AM21" patrol assignments in TWoS ...

EDIT:
There is a AM6144 but with radius of 200 km (check cpt log)...

Could this be due to the map mod I am using? No.

Weird, I specifically remember that one ( AM51** -> AN51**around march/April 40).
I didn't happen again though, am a happy bunny now :)

I am now in May 40, and just refitted in a port with a unmemorable name mentioned in the radio message, I will do my 1st patrol switch later this week. (From what I read, I assume I will be teleported to port on June 7th)

PS: No screenshot because I fubared some of Uplay by moving my document folder to another drive, fixing it would imply reinstalling Uplay and the games associated with it, can't do ATM.

I just had an assignment to AM5153 in February 1940 that I completed. I have now been given AN1334 and am headed for it. Both assignments were for 200 KM radius for 48hrs.

Out of curiosity if I go to my assigned area should I see any visual feedback upon entering or after the 48 hours. I had AN1544/200/48 and can't see any radio/GUI/other change arriving or having left. I also haven't found or sunk anything this patrol yet.
