ENIGMA Question

I have just started the campaign with WOS mod. Just sunk the polish destroyer and are now heading for kiel. Just got a BDU message witch i have found out is a 412 message witch is either Medusa or Allgemein.
It cant be Medusa cause that is for 43 in the mediterranean and the date is 2 september 39. So how do i setup the machine for Allgemein?:hmmm:

I believe all message in 39/40 are Hydra.
Others won't be there until 41.
There're some explanation you can find when you open the machine. If I remember correctly it'll be the fourth part of the third book.

I did try to set it up with hydra, but it decodes wrong then.

Are you sure BOGT isnt BQGT? The font makes them look very similar.

Also, are you remembering to look at the coding for DKUW BOGT and remembering to vertically stack them in the lookup table (and the right table for September?)

Code plugs are correct and starting position entered?

I have seen the youtube videos and know how its done. I can take the 8 first letters in their videos and setup the machine so it works correct. I will try to switch the O with Q.

Probably, but I'm still not sure how...
Anyway, after some time it's not that hard to spot the difference...
