I was new to the SH5 community and have been playing this game for a two months now, as realistic as possible to get the feeling how it must have been to be a U-Boot captain in the 40ies. This game, especially with the TWOS mod, is amazing and I fully enjoy it. To listen to original radio broadcasts, to decipher enigma messages, to find the enemy, to prepare the attack, to sink the vessel, to be hunted, to have flooding onboard, to escape, as i said amazing, very realsitic and a true adventure, probaly the closest to a "Das Boot" experience you can get....

But the game is not easy and you have to invest time to master it. I like it but UBI Soft as the software developper, I fear, will have the oppinion that they can adress too few gamers for such a game and thus too little money can be earned. This business is money driven......

Don't want to see anything from ubisoft again...By the way SH6 is released long time ago and it's called "Silent Hunter Online" . Enjoy it if you can. Next SH would be only bigger catastrophe. Time of Ubisoft simulations is gone for good...

And to be honest, I indeed feel a bit of guilt because projects like TWoS are actually allowing ubisoft fraudsters (http://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/fraudster) to make a good money (nowadays even more that few years before) for their unfinished and broken product(s). :nope:

If it wasn't for dedicated modders like you Vecko, Subsim.com would most probably not be around, or a whole lot smaller than it is, because the SH series would be long dead by now. I salute you for taking an all but unplayable SH5, and turning it into what it should have been from the start, a beautiful, stable, sub simulation, for the rest of us to enjoy.:Kaleun_Salute:
