Anybody playing this? It has a noticeable performance issue which I hope will get resolved with patches but Dovetail Game isn't known for releasing patches at all.

Looks good, but with FPS issues I will wait to see if they fix it. Not in any hurry, don't play much of TS 17 either.

Yeah, it can look really good especially on all settings on high or ultra but you get occasional stutter sometimes especially when an AI train is about to appear.
There are gameplay bugs too like signals that never go green even though there's no train ahead.

I doubt there are going to be patches since Dovetail Games isn't known for releasing any patches, not even one for their train simulator franschise and broken DLCs remain broken in that franchise.

One patch is more or less confirmed though but it has nothing to do with optimization just fixing that VR isn't launched when not needed.

Sorry Platapus and Kapt Z, Train Sim World CSX Heavy Haul is the first release of the new Train Sim World franchise. Thus, there's no steam loco yet for the franchise.

For steam locos, you can try Train Simulator and some of its DLCs.

I suppose these are all download sims? Steam on Steam like? Absolutely amazing and I love it! I don't do railway stuff and I had no idea it could be this good... getting out of the cab and walking back along the track... and the sounds, too... fantastic! Thanks for showing us this, Castout.
