What is the difference between starting options

What is the difference between starting with LSH3Commander or LSH Start? Why does the LSH Commander mod enbler not have any mods? In other words I don't understand this setup. What's the logic behind all this? If you grew into its development I suppose it's easy. But coming from "outside" Its use confusing.

SH3commander is a mod that gives background to your captain. If you just start the game, then you simply play it. Commander gives your captain a background, birthplace, you can write logs and set up music and other files to appear in game at certain dates in the war. It's awesome. Just read the documents.

I do not advise using the Start shortcuts as it can cause a ctd when loading to the menu screen or loading the game.
Make sure SH3Commander is set to run as an administrator.
Right click with you mouse and pin it to the task bar.
Start your game from the SH3Commander icon showing in the task bar each time.
