That's hysterical. I wonder how he explained the " care package " to his friends. :haha:
After I had shut down my computer for the night, I suddenly remembered a similar situation from my childhood.
I got pocket money each week, not much and I had to do some "homework" such as dishwashing, vacuum cleaner and keep my own room clean.
This day it was my turn to do the dishwashing, it was also the day our local football team was playing at home, after I had returned home I dropped my school books on my bed. Said -see you later- to my Mom and went to a friend. I knew it was my turn to do the dishwashing, but I hoped, as I sat at the stadium and watch our team playing, that my Mom or other would "do me this favour" went home after the match and was met by my Mom at the door
- Haven't you forgot something today my young lad, she said to me
- ?? What have I forgot, I don't know I replied(knowing very well what I had forgot)
Come here, she said. She toke me into the kitchen and opened the cupboard door under the sink and Voilá there the complete set of unwashed thing from that day.
So instead of watching tv before bedtime, I stood in our kitchen and doing the dishwashing
