Hi all,
So a couple of weeks ago I downloaded Silent Hunter 3 on Steam after watching Das Boot last month. Submarines are fascinating things!
I really want to get my teeth into the game and I've done some patrols and everything else and I can tell there's a great gaming experience in there somehwere. However I need advice on 2 things:
1. Manual targeting - this will really take the expereince up to the next level. The reason I signed up to the forum is because there was a download file that was a PDF explaining how to do the manual targeting. I plan on pouring over this in the coming days.
2. Mods - I've modded games in the past with success. This game looks like it benefits SO much from mods. I like the look of GWX, seems to combine all the right properties to make it equally it great sim and game expereince. Mods howveer are overwhelming because there are so many. Would standalone GWX be sufficient or is it a case of playing around with it?
Looking forward to this!
