Hello everyone,

I made a speed calculation table based off of Hitmans GUI table. This is a simple excel file that basically copies the GUI table and also has the equation for determining range, also based on the Hitman optics. I loved the idea of having the table handy, but the widescreen GUI I use didn't have the table and as great as the U-jagd is, sometimes more accuracy is necessary. There is still some estimation, for example a 164m ship is not explicitly tabulated, so going off of the 150m reading would be best, but the speed difference is not to extreme.

While you are at a stop begin your stopwatch and time how long it takes for the ship to travel from bow to stern across the center of your reticle. Then reference the length table, go down to the time in seconds, then to the left to find your target speed.

Thanks for doing this.

One of the things I have also been doing for night attacks is to run parallel to the target ship for an amount of time and try and pace it with the fine speed control.

Example: put the ship 90 degrees off of the right or left beam and try and run at its speed. Put the UZO on the center of the target ship (unlocked) and go faster or slower as needed to where I am going the same speed as the target ship. This may take a few minutes and some patience. Note the speed and start the attack run by breaking off into it at a 45 degree angle and begin the prep-work (crew, weapons. etc).
