Q:Download limit and the way it works

Hi!
I am completely new to the series of sh4 and I just started to realise how big changes the mods introduce to the game. I'm playing sh4 with uboats addon.

The problem is that I have reached some kind of a limit or the servers have stopped working. I know there is a limit from reading other threads, but I have never understood how it works, nor have I seen someone explaining it. So here I am waiting second day in a row for the site to allow me downloading of TMOwtw 2.5

Can someone please help?

Additional info:
I have not donated anything to Subsim
I have already downloaded 6 mods in addition to JSGME which gives 7 files in total (RFB, RFB patch, RSRD, RSRD patch, TMO, FOTRS)

Try making a few posts to kickstart the process and if that fails, send a PM to Onkel Neal

Questin. Why I can't download anything? I keep geting message "you hit download limit ..." But I didn't download for more than 1 year anything? Anybody please help.

To the folks who can't download: The downloads are tied to your post count. Not the overall count, but the daily count. Alternately you can donate to SubSim to raise the limits dramatically.

Right now, due to the abuse of some members the downloads are limited to people who support Subsim. Be patient, it will go back to normal soon.

Update: I downloaded 12 files not 7 (dont remember downloading so many though :D)

I just downloaded two mods and can't access the downloads anymore.

it says "you can't access this page" and then gives a list of reasons, but i doubt is the daily download limit. :wah:
