Hello all. First Id like to thank you in advance for you time and pateince in helping me. I have the game going, however I was having issues with the tonnage bar in the "stock" game so I though from your millions of posts that the "Wolves of Steel" would solve my problems. I finally got the "Wolves of Steel" running however, this is at least for now, too much realism for me. Is there a way to have a "fixed" game with enemy ships appearing on the navigation chart?

Yes, it's easy. When you are in port, go modify the game play settings. You can change the realism to allow map contacts.

You want to uncheck the option for "No Map Contact Updates".
Then, when you are in game, on the map screen, click on the map options button. Click the checkbox for all the various kinds of contacts - visual, radar, sonar, etc.
After that, you will have a fixed game but you will have map contacts.
Also if you are new I recommend not enabling the Real Navigation part of the mod.
With those changes you should be able to easily intercept targets by using the map to plot their course and your course, and use the 3 minute 15 second trick to plot out the target speed.
Place an X on the target, wait 3 minutes 15 seconds, place another X on the target and draw a line between the xes. The length of the line is the target speed in knots.
With this kind of precision you can bullseye targets from 5000 meters away pretty easily.
But early war you should shoot from within 1000 if you can.

It's not so simple I'm afraid. As you can see already , since I have removed this TB nonsense from the game, only very few new noobs will try to use this broken Ubisoft's feature and, by the definition, they wouldn't be able to help you much... Can you upload your exe solution somewhere so I could do some testing of my own?
Can you crate an exe file which would simultaneously start SH5.exe and also set OSI.exe to real time priority, at the same time?

Yes but what would be the reason for needing that?
At the moment it works the other way round. When you start SH5 in your normal way (directly or via uplay launcher), SH5 itself launches my OSI.exe which spawns the ubisoft one at realtime priority.
Can you upload your exe solution somewhere so I could do some testing of my own?
Can I PM attachments or is there a recommended file storage service you guys use?

That sounds even better! But what would happen if we launch SH5 trough some other external application, like KSDComannder?
