Well, looks like 2017 is taking over where 2016 left off. Pretty sad to hear.

RIP

Sad to hear about this, may he rest in peace. Have his movie, Last Man on the Moon, really something to see.

We are running out of moon walkers.
Indeed. With his passing, only half of them remain.

It would be a shame if we let the number of people that have walked on another world fall back to zero.

More proof that we don't live forever ...

a little song I wrote one time for Gene Autry and Roy Rogers (not on youtube yet) lol

"Don't say good-by when I die ... just say hello for when we meet again in that big big sky"

RIP Gene and know that you were loved

I know where I am when I look at the Moon...
It's not just some abstract, romantic Idea...
It's something very real to Me...
The Stars are my Home

Eugene A. Cernan

You are home now

You were one among a selected group that paved the way through physical frontiers for quite a while. Pathways which ignited inspiration and imagination for exciting and rewarding new discoveries. Unfortunately, the concept of space travel really didn't catch the sustainable momentum we believed would be running through science, engineering and public appreciation, for all the future to come. It truly held true, the headline in a newspaper back then prelaunch:
'Hello Moon, and Goodbye'

This is an interesting computer bug. I posted the above to Platapus but it somehow got applied to Razarks account.

I can't say what happened to yours, but I do remember posting this comment.

Needless to say I echo the statement! :)
