Heard not so long ago that George Michael known from Wham is dead.

RIP George You will be remembered for many great songs among them is Last Christmas and Careless whisper

Just heard on the news less than an hour ago.

I met him in person early on in his career.

Wrote quite a few excellent songs.

I did not realize that he was 53 years old.

He was part of a generation of artists during their heyday of the 80's. It seems aspiring artists are reaching back to those times for inspiration in their own music today.

To be honest I was never a fan of his music. However when he sang other songs, like at the Freddie Mercury Tribute, his singing talent was obvious. A sad loss.
