SH_5-Vs-SH_3_GWX ---Vs---LSH3_2015 ?

Good day lads-n-lasses,

I played SH4 for a spell back in 2007 and frankly found 'plotting' torpedo vectors somewhat challenging but still very intriguing.

That said, I'm looking at diving again and in researching, confused :hmmm: with the differences, pros & cons between SH5 [some poor reviews ?], SH3 GWX [love the auto install routines] and LSH3 2015...

Can some one please take the time to sort me out, as I was about to install SH3 CWX......BUT, then I discovered LSH3 2015 .......ohh Shiney !!!

SH5 with The Wolves Of Steel mega mod contains over 100 mods is 99.99% stable and is the ultimate SH5 gaming experience.
Is currently being modded with regular updates and additions.
GWX3.0 is the standard by which SH3 is based and has been around for a number of years is extremely popular but unfortunately has not been updated for a number of years.
The LSH3-2015 mega mod is in my opinion underrated and lies in shadow of GWX being the new kid on the block.
It is currently being modded and a new version is due in 2017.
I play both of these on alternative nights and highly recommend both.

I have never seen comparisons with regards to SH3 with GWX and SH5. Forum members like and play both games and SH4 as well. With all the available mods, opinions will vary.

Fortunately, because of the work of dedicated " modders" we don't have to make a choice and can enjoy all of these games. It's Important to know that you don't have to make a choice with which SH3 mega mod to run as you can have multiple installs on the same computer. That is in addition to having SH4 and 5.

Indeed. The options & numbers of mods are a almost :o overwhelming. However comma, it's good to see the community very much alive and well.

I think I'm going to overwrite GWX [installed for two days] with LSH3 2015, and give targeting a run !

LSH3-2015 must be installed on a clean SH3 format.
Follow my tutorials as it will save you time and yo will get your gam up and running quicker.

Like THEBERBSTER said, you have to completely delete all your game files before a new Install. As I said, you can have multiple installs and enjoy GWX and LSH and others on the same computer and choose among them which to play. Let us know how it works out Todd and your opinions on the various Mega Mods like GWX and LSH.
