A little while ago I said that I didn't like the new £5 note much. This morning I learned that we now have a £20 coin in the UK and my first thought was, "Well, that'll be worth about what 20 pence used to be"... it looks as though I wasn't far wrong:

It must be your Outback Computer; have you wound the rubber band up this morning? Or maybe a valve's gone.

Turns out that the new fiver has animal fat in it too, which has pleased some folk.

No STEED, you can't eat it.

Came back home late last night, turned the news channels on and thought "Oh my God, whatever next" :)

Yep, got one every year in my christmas stocking (sock sounds much better)....I'm keeping mine for any future grandchildren that come along.

More for sentimental reasons than anything else because if you look on eBay I think you'll be a tad disappointed at their current value.

The 1965 Churchill coin came in 2 versions like the Charles and Diana coin. There were 9 million of the normal coin struck and they are pretty worthless. However, the VIP version has a rainbow type shine in the metal compared to the dull normal coin.

Carrying coin money seems rather cumbersome. I'm glad that Winston Churchill is honored on the coin though.
