i am tyring to put silent hunter 5 battle of the atlantic on my windows 8.1 laptop but i am have trouble getting it to play can someone help me please and yes i am a rookie

Is it a game launcher problem or internet message?
Are you using any mods?
Run your SH5.exe as an administrator.
Have you updated to version v1.2?
