This has been long overdue. I have been a casual lurker here for some time now and even made an account like two years ago. Not sure why I haven't posted anything yet, but please excuse me and accept my apologies for not introducing myself sooner.
My primary interest have always been flight sims, but something has always drawn me to naval simulations and tanks as well.
My first ever sub sim was Silent Service 2 on the Atari ST. I do play Silent Hunter casually (shameful easy mode) and I also have a disc with Dangerous Waters somewhere, but one only has a given amount of free time and the level of complication leaves this on my backlog shelf (cause DCS modules have fat manuals too).
Anyway, I have been recently feeling the urge to play some sub sims on a more serious level and since I hear SH5 is now playable thanks to this wonderful community and Cold Waters is lurking on the horizon, I feel like this is a good time get into naval combat games on a bit more serious note.
Yes, I'll probably be needing some assistance.
