Hello fellow Captains
:Kaleun_Salute:

I think I broke my game when I modded my deck gun by changing values for the deck gunners abilities and the speed of the ship. All was going great until I fired my super deck gun of doom, only then to find that all audio stopped immediately (I didn't even hear the gun fire). Restarting the game I can hear music and all is fine but now no matter what I try (settings, transitioning to port, reloading, etc) I have not only lost background audio but all audio for this save.

lol, my deck gun destroyed not only a ship but my sound with one shot. Any help or pointers for a captain gone stray would be greatly appreciated and I thank any and all people that respond ahead of time for their assistance.

Edit: After I restarted the game a few times it is now working. I did alter the ships speed though and noticed that my battery drains really fast now. Is there a variable I can change to alter this?

If you did not back up the file/s you changed you may need to re-install the game as you have probably corrupted the file/s you changed when you modded the deck gun.
You may also need to delete your last game save as this possibly may or not be corrupted?
Someone else may have more definitive answer than mine.

Thank you for the reply, it would seem that the game just bugged out that one time. This playthrough is just for fun so I did not put the sub into god mode but I beefed it up.

I have an issue though where my batteries drain very fast while submerged due to the engine speed. Is there a value for the battery that I can alter or a ration of speed to consumption? I have looked but I can not seem to find anything related beyond editing special abilities for recharging batteries faster.

Again, thank you for your reply and I hoe someone can steer me in the proper direction with this last problem.

Hi ed
Can't help you on that one.
Not quite sure why you would want to travel submerged at a high speed.
Ahead slow should give you a decent submerged time before needing to recharge the batteries.
