Hello,
thunder on Sea, what can happen with the boat,ship and crew on sea? Please explain!

If you are asking how storms affect ship and crew while at sea, I'll give it a shot.
Cannot load external torpedoes, ship speed reduced a few knots, cannot fire deck gun, visibility reduced.
I'm sure I'm missing something.

Maybe he's asking what would happen to the crew and uboat if struck by a lightning.

i would know, what just happen on a reality example like this against a u boat (overwater) or ship. :doh:

Most of the time, when visibility is really bad, the crew is actually inside the boat. I know, movies always show us a different thing, but when your visibility is 25 meters or less it is pretty useless to stay on conning tower and "watch".

Been on several ships that have been struck by lighting .. Everything is pretty well grounded and the least path of resistance is via the hull to the sea - as the CIC officer going through the English Channel on the USCGC Eagle we got hit on a fiber glass antenna on the mizzenmast. - blew the heck out of the antenna but little else.
