Huge efforts are taken to reinterpret her complete immunity to Easteuropean as well as internal German criticism as expression of her "integrity". But almost zero reporting of it in German main media and major newspapers - I had to google for it and only found dubious sources. Which maybe says something: That somebody could dislike her so much that he tries to assassinate her, just would spoil the propaganda of that everybody likes the great German Staatenlenkerin and how nice it is out there in the big EUpean family.
