Resolution problem

first time playing in windows 10 I changed the game resolution and now the game loads and goes to a blank screen so I cant see options to change it back. Is there a way to change it back other than the option screen in game? thanks!

Have you tried clicking on the black part of the screen? Sometimes, with an accidental mouse click, "focus" goes to another area, and the game doesn't display... Or, perhaps you have dual screen enabled (or that oversized desktop thingie), and the game is "off-screen" somewhere...

I *think* the current screen settings are in your "save" folder, wherever you have that, under like "C:/Documents / SH4 / data /cfg / main.cfg, which can be opened with NotePad (use the "*.* all files" filter). Be careful with your typing, if you do it - the "default is "1024, 768, 60, 22" on my computer (oh, it's under the [video] heading) - but don't take my word for it, and you're probably better off waiting for someone else to come along and confirm - 'cause there's probably an easier / better way...

The easiest thing is, if you don't have anything important saved, is to just blow the save directory away, and let the game rebuild it, or run MultiSH (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/downloads.php?do=file&id=433) and make a new folder for your saves, either technique of which should pull in the original Main.cfg file from the game itself, and load the default. MultiSH (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/downloads.php?do=file&id=433) is the safest / easiest route.
