My name is Neil Murray and I've just joined Subsim, although I've been aware of its existence for a lot of years.

I've played a number of Naval Warfare sims over the years, starting with 688i, Sub Command, Fleet Command, most of the SH series and Dangerous Waters. I recently bought Command Modern Air Navel Operations, although its not my favourite. I love playing Fleet Command and have used the database editor to create my own mods to many RN vessels of the 80's.

I've just downloaded Dangerous Waters from Steam (couldn't find the disk in the boxes stored in my loft) and am looking forward to getting back into it again.

There seems to be lots of Mods to the game around and I'm wondering which ones I should go for and in what order. I've looked for a post in the DW forum but can't find one that explains what all the various mods achieve. If anyone can assist here I would be very grateful.

Anyway, looking forward to speaking with some of you in the coming weeks and thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Best Wishes

Neil

PS: I don't do social media so I'm not on FB or Twitter or any such........

I'm a Brit and the latest RN Hunter killer Class is the Astute, although they seem to be better at bumping into things :-).

59,! I'm not 59 but I am approaching it. I believe Jailhouse Rock was No 1 in the UK on my birth date. Hope this makes sense of the U/N.

Welcome to Subsim Neil. :sunny:

Take a look through the forums as there are a great number of mods available for whatever you are playing. You can also take a look through the mod descriptions to see if there are any of interest to you.

Happy hunting.

Best Regards.
