North Korea's deputy ambassador in London has defected with his family to South Korea, making him the highest-ranking Pyongyang diplomat ever to flee the isolated regime for the democratic South, South Korea said on Wednesday.

The Unification Ministry in Seoul declined to say when or how Thae and his family arrived, or how many relatives accompanied him.

Unfortunately, with all the operatives and sappers NK has in SK, the guy and his family will probably have to live their lives in SK looking over their shoulders for the rest of their lives. Fat Boy is not going to take to kindly to a huge public embarrassment...

....in revenge for recent defections, according to Seoul.

An official from South Korea's Unification Ministry said the defection of North Korea's deputy ambassador in London Thae Yong Ho and his family was among those that had put the North in "a very difficult situation".

Kim Jong-Un will certainly find something, but it will be difficult, but it was good that he chose a good country with opportunities for he and his family.
