please tell me why the radar doesn't work on all subs?
just a couple. you would think that if u had a sub from 1944
the radar should work,right but no. the hand that turns the
radar on is grayed out why is that?:06:

If you're early in a campaign, and you don't have radar, it doesn't "populate" throughout the rest of the game's Quick Missions and Patrols... at least in my installs... But, my computer has been called "Weird" by more people than just me...:88)

While in the office, you need to go to the sub outfitting screen and make sure you have radar. Early war, the set is there inside the boat, but there is no radar. Radar comes available in 1943, I forget the exact date. If you don't make sure you have radar, the set will still be there like early war.

That was true for me in SH4 1.4. After I upgraded to 1.5 (U-Boats) it turns on automatically.
