Hey fellas,
So I just joined the forums . . . received what I presume to be an automated message inviting me to introduce myself, so here I am. 30 yr old gamer, very much interested in WWII type games, especially War Thunder.
Played SH, loved it.
Played SH 3, loved it.
Played SH 4, loved it immensely.
Playing SH 5 starting a few weeks ago . . . still trying to love it, but it seems buggy. I can push through a few of the bugs, but I finally got to a point where the tonnage bar would not update, and I decided to poke around Subsim to see if there might be a solution(s).
It all seems pretty confusing (forum searches often turn up non-specific answers to my specific problem), so if anyone wants to volunteer some possible fixes and/or workarounds, I would greatly appreciate it.
I run Windows 10, and installed SH5 through steam.
My two biggest complaints with the game are
-the inconsistency of the tonnage bar updating and
-the inability to get some of the ubisoft achievements (e.g., played through the tutorial a couple of times now, and the achievement relevant to that task still hasn't popped)
Again, I realize that I'm asking other people to volunteer their time towards my problems instead of their own interests, so I would greatly appreciate the help, but understand if there is little interest in helping me out.
