View Full Version : Going to be a long hot summer in the UK
BLM goes on a road trip to the UK, blocking traffic in many different places. After being stopped by this stuff over here once, I can tell you its no fun!:nope:
Even if you had nothing to do with what they are protesting about, its your fault! Remember that and act accordingly!:D

Eh, the French cause worse traffic jams whenever they go on strike or up security. Besides, Heathrow needs replacing anyway, not that that will ever happen.
Whole bunch of nothing really. Let them protest, to be honest disruptive protests are the only kind that actually get any attention nowadays so I can't really blame them.

Problem is that employers don't give a damn about protests. If you're late, YOU are late. If you miss your flight on your way securing a business deal that will ensure you'll still employ a few people or if you miss your flight going to vacation you saved for a whole year.
No, there's a way to protest and making lives worse for those that have absolutely nothing to do with it is arrogant, egoistic and inexcusable and those are the people that not only making me think twice before declaring myself liberal and further push me to the right as I age.
Have to agree with you both. They have a right to protest, but when you stop someone who has a family emergency, and they have to sit there and listen to them yelling and carrying on, it will set you off. I'm not for running them down, but it won't be long before someone gets mad enough to do something like that.

Let them block a path from a parliament to the favourite cafe of the MPs and they'll have the nations gratitude. A picket in front of far right organisations and parties. High end golf resorts.
But not a road used by the common working folk.
Black lives mater, employed people livelyhood matter.

Too late, the swine are on their summer break.

I can go for that :yep:
It's gotten a lot harder to protest around Parliament these days, so I wouldn't put too much hope on that route.

Why only far right organizations and parties? Does the far left enjoy a pass?

The far left is already picketing

That and only the 'right' was mentioned.
