Greetings, I've been away from SH5 for a while. I'm playing campaign, saving to local file because cloud for some reason doesn't work. I sail out on the first mission, sink some ships, come back to rearm and refit go back out kill some more all is good. I save game, log out. Next time I load game, load my save, continue, sink some ships but i'm not seeing the progression bar counting the kills even though they are within the patrol area and I get the tonnage it isn't counting toward the mission. What is the difference when coming to port and just refitting and going back out or docking, fixing sub, upgrading etc. Would that cause the mission to stop progressing with kills? When I talk to the captain on the dock he goes through the exact same briefing and doesn't give me any choice of mission so I just start the new patrol and go. When I was playing some years ago it worked fine. I did change to Win 10.

Thanks, Bill

The tonnage bar is broken and has been for about 2 years now.
To move to your next campaign Happy Days you can use this fix.

Thanks gentlemen for the replies. I'm a casual gamer and not really computer savy so I will have to play the game as is, still fun for a while, I just won't use campaign mode, maybe just do some missions. If anyone has a "fixed" SH5 I would be interested in purchase.

Thanks again, Bigbill...

Hi bb
Ubisoft is still selling the game today in its broken state where the campaign icons and tonnage bar do not work properly.
If anyone has a "fixed" SH5 I would be interested in purchaseUnfortunately there is no such thing or ever likely to be a so called fixed version.
The mega mod versions of SH5 have removed the tonnage bar from the game so you no longer see it.
Requesting a mission gives you a recognized patrol area with a time period and patrol radius or you may get a special objective.
Moving a campaign from Total Germany to Happy Times for example can be done successfully by using the fix I showed you.
