The FTC estimated that her company took in over one billion dollars. Yikes!

Her death was a well-reported event here in Los Angeles since she was an LA native. I remember her late night commercials on local TV here, and I knew of a few persons I worked with over the years at the time who actually used her 'services'. I still can't get my mind around the fact so many people still get taken in by such hucksterism and fraud; I guess the old saw of "There's a sucker born every minute" still holds true...
