Installed TWoS V1.05 mod and followed the vid tutorial link which I found quite easy however after the install my game would quit after loading from the "New campaign". After a lot of time fiddling I was able to get the game working by de-selecting osi.exe to run as Administrator. Also running SH 5 as admin also prevented the game from running. Hope this might help others having probs.
Note; running osi.exe as Administrator is only suggested in the vid tutorial of installing TWoS mod, also I run Win 8.1

Hi Ausprey
Sounds like you have other issues going on in the installation process..
You should not need to touch the osi.exe to run the game.
Changing the SH5.exe to run as an administrator and other applications should be to your advantage not a hindrance.

Hi Ausprey
The osi.exe at the time was there so you could move from campaign to campaign because their were problems at the time as there still is to day.
As I said, for general play it is not necessary to use the osi.exe and when it comes to move from one campaign to the next then use this fix as it is 1005 reliable.

Thx for the info Peter, seems I have some corrupted files and conflicts so am about to reinstall. If I choose English voices when installing SH 5 will this cause probs with TWoS? Cheers
