Greetings to all virtual submariners.
Messenger 01 posting. I was inspired to post by a Youtube clip I've just been watching about the building of the Royal Navy's Astute class Subs. Love Das Boot. Not just a great submarine film, but arguably one of the best war films ever. I'm also a fan of Silent Hunter 3. SH4 is pretty good from a visuals point of view, but there's something more gritty about SH3, I think.
I also want to get my hands on GWX, the SH3 mod. I used to have it at one point as part of a download from Isozone. If you'll forgive the newbie, would I be right in thinking that I need to cross someone's hand with silver to get a copy? Don't be passive, please, be active and ping me with some information.

No, you never have to pay for a mod. We do have one exception to that, as some mods from Subsim.com are available to subscribing members only.

GWX3 is available from several sources. You can find any post by Jimbuna, and get it from his signature. You can get it here, from SubSim Downloads.
