howdy all. :salute:
i am imperator182 and a newbie here.
firstly, i want to greet u all and introduce my self. i am a fan of ww2 games and played many games with different genres. i am now playing silent hunter 4 wolves of the pacific, u bot missions, patch 1.5. i am new to this kind of sub simulator game, but fairly familiar with the submarine operation through some kind of reading and other games experience.
secondly, i have a few problems and need some advices. may i post it here or i have to make a new thread for it? i'm trying the submarine school missions, and now in the 3rd missions where i have to make torpedo attack on japanese mogami CA with manual targeting. the problem is when i use the stad metre to calculate range and i think that it gives me wrong range calculation. i then try to compare it with range from sonar contact and check out contact data on realism setting to find out exactly where is that CA. i figured out that the range from stad gives me range difference about 300m compared to sonar and ship icon in naval map. i followed instructions in the manual how to use stad and place the waterline image on the top of that CA mast. am i doing it wrong? or is it always like that?
forgive me for my bad english. i'm not good with it.
thanks in advance, good skippers. :salute:
