GWX

Can anyone tell if I am doing something wrong. I have loaded GWX and have gone through 9 patrols. I have never come into contact with any enemy ships, even if i go into their harbors there are never any ships in port. I am currently in a type IIB boat. Also the messages being sent by Bdu are in french no matter what language I select. And finally the officer icons which show up in the game are the stocks ones from the vanilla game and not the ones which the GWX manual shows. I have double checked and appear to have the proper mods activated. Any assistance is appreciated. Thnks

It sounds like you have two GWX-Mods activated that you shouldn't:

1) Either GWX - Black Sea Campaign Files Only or GWX - Indian Ocean Campaign Files Only will make it so the game saves memory by only having ships active in those areas. If you have one of those activated you won't see any ships in the Atlantic, North Sea or anywhere else.

2) GWX - Fix French makes everything in French.

Check to see if those are activated and if so, deactivate them. That should fix the problems.

Thanks for this information. I did have the French Fix and Black Seas active. I have deactivated and will they the game again.
