Made a comment in my own thread UEFA Euro 2016 and pressed the submit...

Never seen that before, made me wonder is there some kind of restriction ?

I'm looking into it and believe I can see what the problem is and have PM'd Neal so hopefully it will be sorted out soon.

The same thing that happened to mapuc happened to me last night too.

Update: The two latest posts made by Reece and mapuc are only viewable because I have cleared them for viewing in the admin panel but any further posts automatically appear to be defaultingback to the original anomaly.
I have made all the adjustments I feel I'm able to and whilst it being obvious not everyone is affected, some certainly appear to be.
I've PM'd Neal so hopefully this issue can be resolved soon.
My apologies to all those affected but give it an hour or so (Neal could well be busy in RL) and if the matter isn't resolved I'll ring him.

Update2: I've (hopefully) sorted out the GT section of the forum. A few posts by some of you will help clarify the position. If not, I'll ring Neal as soon as I receive feedback from yourselves.

Maybe this is a problem that does not need to be solved. Maybe GT posts should be subject to approval before being visible. There is nothing posted in GT that is that time dominant.

Dali aside, whilst it is tempting, I think it would require a larger modding team than Neal, Jim and Steve to process the amount of posts in GT per day, not to mention that it would stifle the free flow of discussion and debate and would provide very much a headache as to what is permitted and what is not in regards to the rules and how much leeway a poster gets before being brigged or keelhauled.
I do see where you're coming from Platapus, and it would also declutter some threads, but honestly, I don't think it would work and would cause a pretty big backlash.
Ultimately it's up to Neal though, but I don't think it's something he'd go for either.
Imagine the 4 word story game, someone places a post, and while it sits waiting to be approved others don't realize this and they post as well. What a mess!!!:dead:

Agreed and if it isn't broken, it doesn't need fixing.
