BIOS Update for SH4?

After installing SH4 succesfully? when starting the program as administrator I get the following message:-
A required security module cannot be activated. This program cannot be executed (8016).
After looking at the following web http://www.securom.com/message.asp?m=module&c=8016 I am informed that my bios needs updating. This is a brand new PC so I should imagine that the BIOS are o/k. I have registered SH4 with UBIsoft.
SH4 is installed in D:\Silent Hunter 4
Not being very computor savvy I am a bit reluctant to go messing about with the BIOS.
System Specs:-
Windows 10 (64 bit)
16337 MB RAM
i5-6400 CPU @ 2.70GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 (Driver 10.18.13.6839)
BIOS MEDION - 1072009|110H4W0X.105|American Megatrends - 5000B|


Any help would be appreciated.

Check with the manufacturer of your PC. New PC's usually have the latest, but if it was on the shelf for some time, there may be a new bios.

I worked in computers for thirty years, large and small.. I've had to load bios on some brand new PC's too

SecuRom provides copy protection for some Game makers.

I have SH4 Gold Edition and only installed SH4. Now I have installed the second disk, U-Boat missions and everything is just fine. no more silly refs to securrom or whatever. thanks however for your very prompt reply.
