We build a brand new stadium for our football team here in Minnesota, and who will play in the stadium first? European soccer teams!!! What's up with that!?!:D

"The first major event at U.S. Bank Stadium will be a soccer match between top international clubs Chelsea and AC Milan on Aug. 3.
The match will be part of the 10-team International Champions Cup, a preseason tournament run by Relevent Sports from July 23 to Aug. 13. Among the most prestigious clubs in the world, Chelsea is the defending champion of the Premier League in the Great Britain, and AC Milan plays in Serie A, the top Italian league."

Well, it is a football stadium therefore it's only fair that football be played in it, not hand-egg. :O:

1. Is it football season?
2. Is there a MN team event at this time?
If the answers are no, then what is the problem. I am sure that the team that is using it will be charged a pretty good fee so that is money in the stadium's pocket.

Not really sure what the issue is?

Whether the team actually owns the stadium or not doesn't matter. It's built to make money, the owners don't care. Whoever wants to pay money to use it, then they'll rent it.

Well, it is a football stadium therefore it's only fair that football be played in it, not hand-egg. Precisely! As a former Minnesota schooled college soccer goalie/inside forward who played intermural football and then hooker in the scrum for seven years, sometimes in charge of relining the pitch as ad hoc manger/player; I see no problems at all with the venue being used for any and all field sports...including lacrosse and field hockey! We used to play a lot of rugby in college football stadiums. http://content.sportslogos.net/logos/7/172/thumbs/17227042013.gif GO VIKES!:D

1. Go to the game.
2. Shotgun at least six beers.
By now, you won't care what game is being played on the field.
:haha::har:
