Can't Start SH5

Hi guys,
I'm brand new here but have been in and out of the site over the years. Have been playing SH for many years - since SH2 if I remember right.

Anyway I have been playing SH3 for a while with the Grey Wolves mod etc and decided I wanted to go back to my Steam SH5.

So i download SH5 and it wont start - I get 'please start the game you want to play instead' error all the time. I have tried launching with Uplay, with Steam, with the exe - putting Uplay in offline mode etc. Tried all I know - can anyone shed any light on this issue or am I going to have to give up on it?

It's okay guys - managed to get it working with a bit of pfaffing around :-). If anyone else gets this issue it's a case of ensuring the Uplay client is the latest download. Got to the site and download and install it even if you think you have the latest - and it will work. I downloaded the other day and it wouldnt work then redownloaded yesterday and it worked. Simple as that really.

Also I have sobers mods applied and its pretty stable too. So all in all a qualified success :-). If I were to do it again - i'd buy the game DVD from Aamzon or similar :-)
